Yikes... glad you're OK... and were wearing a helmet ...but as others have noted, concussions can be tricky. And same here on Hansard... was not aware of him... will check him out...

Oops I wrote and went off screen and it dumped everything I wrote. I do have some clean complaints about substack. LOL but not about you. :-)

Do hope you continue to feel well after your accident. Can't help but say perhaps be very aware of your body for a while here following that trauma. Just in case. Concussion thing can be hidden.

Is always a wonderful piece of writing David. Love your comments and your photography. And you.

I did not know that performer at all. Link was useful. I did enjoy the music, and the lyrics certainly "struck a chord".

This now my maybe 33rdth lifetime move, I have too much experience in that particular major life change. Charlotte North Carolina is quite different than Chapel Hill North Carolina or Raleigh.

I'm getting to know it slowly since I am not driving my own car ( l9ng story), it is a lot slower for me.

I am planning on getting another car . Last one got totaled, if I didn't already mention this in another communication. A few months before the flood that kicked me out of my last apartment. Not my fault I did not actually even get a ticket though I hit the truck in front of me.

The truck stopped short at the top of a hill. Seems there were several cars in his site suddenly appearing in front of him that were all stopped in a traffic situation . Thankfully I was only going 25 miles an hour, did not get injured but low profile cars hitting trucks can be and was disastrous.

A 13yr old fab car with only 65k miles on it, kept up an imperfect condition cannot be replaced with the money they give you on depreciated value.

My next step after making tons of Consulting Medical appointments is to look at another car purchase.

And connect with another writer's group. Online I'm seeing there are many which is encouraging. I'm so sad about leaving my existing Chapel Hill writers group. I loved it so much. Wonderful people , wonderful writers . Even made some truly nice new friends as well.

Now here I am needing to start over in so many ways yet again another life. There must be something in my karma about learning to be flexible. :-)

Okay enough about me. I hope you continue to enjoy your travels and your life. Stay safe and stay healthy!Namaste DWB. Xxoo
